The Eagle Has Landed…

Shortly after our arrival here at Thousand Trails RV Resort in La Connor, WA, I took Mary on a one hour tour of our campground which is on one-half mile of waterfront on Skagit Bay. On a spit of land which juts out into the bay sits a lone tree atop which eagles frequently perch. Over the years of coming here I’ve seen a number of them, but not as large as this one.

A very large eagle perches atop this tree along the shores of Skagit Bay.

Yesterday I took Mary on a tour of Fidalgo Island and the nearby City of Anacortes. Here’s a link to some photos I took a few years ago.

You might want to checkout Mary’s Blog of today describing yesterday’s tour. she does a much better job than I do when it come to presenting things we have experienced together.
