1979 – A year of big change

This was the year I moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. After 38 years in the East, I had exhausted all the good places to go and needed new horizons. Starting in 1976 I had a job that took me regularly to California and after three years I knew I just had to move there!

Among the 500 photos, you’ll get to see:

* Winter in Vermont,
* Macro-photos – some things to small to be seen with the naked eye,
* Fun super-imposed photos,
* Some abstract photos,
* Bear Mountain State Park/Bridge/Hudson River, NY,
* DuPont Mansion/Longwood Botanical Gardens, PA,
* San Antonio, TX,
* My son Jimmy at age 15, and
* The majority of the photos cover my 3 three month, 6,000 mile trip from New Jersey to California. I passed by Niagara Falls to the head of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Canada. Then started south, zig-zagging down the Rockies the Grand Canyon. There are times you will see the same scene shot at different exposures and using different filters, creating abstracts of real life.

At 3 seconds per photo, you can view the entire slide show in less than 27 minutes, or you can select individual photos to view. To entice you to view the entire slide show, I’m offering seven of the photos that you will see:
