A Day of the Dead Spread

Picture

From my book…”In addition, there were ten displays made by the students to honor the dead. (November 2nd is a holiday called Day of the Dead in which the souls of the deceased return to earth and family and friends turn out in costumes, and have fiestas to meet them.) The displays contained all the things the dead would like such as pictures of deceased family members, flowers, candles, incense, fruits, nuts, breads, cigarettes, beer, mezcal, etc.”
