Meet Mary, my new travel companion!

If you follow my Blog on a regular basis, you may have wondered why I haven’t reported my activities in the last two-plus weeks. After completing the preventative maintenance repairs on my vehicles in Morgan Hill, CA I moved to the pretty little town of Murphys, CA in the Sierra Nevada Mountains foothills. I originally thought I’d be on my way to Palm Springs, CA, but God had other, nicer plans in mind for me.

Mary and I met through an on-line single’s site on October 20th, which led to a delightful five-hour in-person meeting in Tracy, CA on October 26th. After that, the die was cast! Mary invited me to her home so we could continue getting to know one another. So, that’s what I/We have been doing for the last two-plus weeks and I’m happy to report we are getting along greatly. It’s amazing how much we have in common. Like myself, she’s an author, photographer, experienced traveler, avid reader, historian, happy, healthy and is of a French-Canadian Heritage

We are getting along so well, we’ve mutually decided that she will join me in my travels in the roles of friend, buddy, pal, companion and navigator.

So, to bring you up-to-date, we are departing this morning to begin our mutually-shared travel experiences. With brief stays scheduled in Thousand Trails RV Resorts along the way, we’re headed to enjoy Thanksgiving with her daughter’s family in Southern CA and expect to winter in Southern CA, AZ and Northern Mexico.

She’s a most delightful addition to my life!
